Friday Follow is a blog hop that was started by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Each week a different question or topic is posted by our hosts and participants answer. Blog hops are a great opportunity for bloggers to network and interact. For more information about this blog hop and how to participate, go here!
If you choose to follow The Hiding Spot, you can subscribe via Networked Blogs, BlogLovin, Email, or Facebook. All links can be found in the sidebar. Thanks for stopping by!
This week’s topic:
1. Sabrina from I Heart YA Fiction
These days I talk to Sabrina at least once a day, but, not long ago, we lived in the same town and never crossed paths! We met through Goodreads and have quickly become great friends. Books may have brought us together, but now we seem to talk about anything and everything. Last year we attended a conference together in Chicago, which we plan to do again fall. Aaaand we’re taking a nonbookish vacation together in March!
2. Kristen from The Book Monsters
Kristen and I met at a huge author signing in 2009. We bonded over our love of Maria V. Snyder (that’s who we’d traveled to see!) and have stayed in touch ever since. Whenever I travel to Illinois for events, Kristen and I meet up. More often that not, I end up staying at her apartment, where her husband is extremely patient with our bookish adventures. Kristen, both a blogger and children’s librarian, is my go-to person for graphic novel and middle grade literature recommendations.
3. Katie from Sophistikatied Reviews
Though Katie hasn’t blogged since November of 2013, I still consider her a blogger friend! We’ve been good friends since 2010 or so, having met through the book blogging community. We only lived a couple hours from one another, so we often road tripped to events together. Katie is super laid back and we never run out of things to talk about!
